Company History & Information...
We have been in business since 1981 and that many advertisers have been in every issue since the start.

Clips® Coupons has successfully grown in areas each year since 1981.

Clips® has historically been delivered to homes on time and is mailed at least 4 times a year - approximately every 3 months. The mail date information, prices and area boundaries are listed on the data sheets which are updated for each issue sold.

Selling features...
Clips® is an inexpensive way to advertise to 10,000 residents. Clips® books are mailed through the post office and not combined with other mail (which is called marriage mail). The books are always 2 colors throughout (not just the covers).

The price is less than 2.5 cents per home. Most competition (via direct mail) charge at least $350 for a mailing to 10,000 homes - which is 3.5 cents per home.

Advertisers in Clips® always get to approve their ad before it is printed and mailed. Corrections will be made if necessary.

Potential advertisers may call any current customers in a Clips® book for references concerning Clips® business procedures and the success of advertising in Clips®.

Franchise Fee & Operating Costs...
Clips® Coupons offers a direct-mail marketing program through which you sell direct-mail advertising to local merchants to be distributed in an exclusive territory.

You will learn to sell advertising to local merchants and professional services. You can do very well in this business. The business is a very competitive one because your clients are already barraged by ad sales people from local shoppers, weekly newspapers, other direct mail franchises and services, local radio stations, daily newspapers, local magazines, TV magazine giveaways, and many more.

Your advantage over most of the competition is that you can promise precisely targeted mailings to at least 10,000 homes at a very low cost per household. Your clients can easily measure the results by simply counting the number of coupons their customers bring in during the redemption period.

We have a one-time fee for each area chosen. This fee, and more, can be totally recovered during the first 6 to 12 months of business. Additional areas can be reserved on a one-time basis for a one year period of time at a charge of $1,000 per area. This charge is credited to the area franchise fee if it is purchased during the one year reservation period. If not purchased, the fee is not refundable.

Your business advantage is that you can run your franchise from your own home and keep your overhead very low. Your overhead expenses will include the use of your telephone and car. There will also be minimal costs for banking and printing your contracts, business cards and data sheets.

Your direct operational expenses will be typesetting, printing, mailing services and postage.

You may purchase these operational services thru Clips® Coupons or use local services of your choice.

Training...
Clips® Coupons provides a liberal training and support program. You will receive the Clips® Coupons Sales Policies Packet when you purchase an area. It contains information on company history, writing contracts, closing sales, creating ad copy, types of businesses to approach and sales tips for success.
